    I still have a cross stitch birth announcement I started for my daughter when she was born. She's 31 now, does that count? It's a beautiful quilt and what a treasure for both dad and lad.

    <LOL> I have similar blocks that I never finished, from around 1985----the reason they never got finished was because I was a new quilter, did the applique with Wonder Under and---not knowing---must have bought Ultra Heavy Duty. The blocks have the texture of cardboard! They can almost stand by themselves....
