Have been having a great time working on my latest projects ...
It's been some time since I posted my latest projects. Had a great vacation in New York this September! October was a busy month for me to get my rear in gear and work on some of the things I wanted to get done. There will be a new baby boy coming this month ... friends of the family are expecting their first baby. So excited. Made
the "travel" quilt and pillow for him. No label yet as I don't know what they will name him. For Thanksgiving, I made the turkey wall hanging for my niece in New York! Laughed all the way through it! No pattern ... just from a photo she sent to me. The apple core Christmas table topper is for my dearest friend since 1st grade. This will also go to New York. Last, but not least, is a twister Christmas wreath table topper for my classmates from grade school through senior year. I went to a central school which had K - 12 in one building. I got to have lunch with 6 of my classmates while on vacation in New York. Hadn't seen some of them since we graduated many years ago! So, I'm making 6 of them to send to them as a thank you for taking the time to have lunch. We had a blast! One of the longest lunches I ever had! Already thinking of what I will be making next. Isn't it wonderful how we quilters never run out of ideas?! Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and a Blessed Christmas season. May the New Year be full of love and happiness!
