    I think it is beautiful. My husbands grandmother always used the big stitches. Her's were nice but not even like yours. I think she called it a utility stitch.

    I am a hand quilter but never have even tried to do really tiny stitches, even but not tiny, simply because I like to see the stitches. Love your pillow.

    My handquilting sorta comes out as big stitch, though not on purpose!
    I get about 5 or 6 stitches to the inch, I am Not a fine stitcher.

    But I really like the look of the actual Big Stitch quilting you show here, it's very distinctive and adds a lot of character.
    I have some homespuns that this would go nice with, hmmm...
    All the time new ideas.
    How old can I live to be, eh??
