Have you tried big stitch quilting?

If I remember correctly Billie Lauder did an episode of this on Simply Quilts years ago. Not sure if HGTV still has her episodes or not, but maybe Billie's site would have something on it.
Really like what you have done with it Barbara. Beautiful.

You did a fabulous job!
I've never read anything on big stitch quilting either, but I have used that technique on a couple scrappy quilts. I used embroidery floss, and a large eye needle. I like the idea that the stiching is really part of the design. Come to think of it ... Better Homes & Gardens featured a wall hanging with big stitches,,, maybe last year... Anyway, Great looking work!

The HGTV's Simply Quilts' episode 121 by Billie Lauder showed how Billie did it.

This looks beautiful, and would definitely be faster.
I bought some Tiger Tape on Saturday to help me make more even hand stitches, even with regular (smaller) stitching. I'm pretty sure they had some specifically made for Big Stitch quilting (although you could probably use the kind I bought and just skip every other mark).
