    Default Haven't posted in a long while
    I haven't posted a picture in a long while, because I have been mostly quilting simple meandering or E2E on customer quilts. I took the time last week to make two small items for myself.

    The first is a hexagon hotpad that I made from a MODA layer cake. I have been kind of hexi crazy lately since I got my half hexi rulers.

    The second item is a hexagon table mat, also made from a layer cake. It is a quilt as you go item. The colors in the pumpkin table mat are much darker and richer than in the picture.

    I really enjoyed making both of these items, and plan to make more between now and Christmas. I think they would both make great gifts. Of course, I would probably use a Christmas or general theme for the table mat, but I love fall colors, thus the pumpkin one for me.

    Oh how nice! I love the one with the pumpkin!! hmm, but, the one with the musical notes is great too. Love the fabrics. Okay, I can't choose. They are both great!!
