    I love it. I love batiks, but my hubby does not - so I would need to do his in non-batiks.

    This is a gorgeous quilt. Hasn't he asked any questions about it? Maybe he secretly hopes it's for him and he doesn't want to be disappointed if it isn't.

    What a lovely surprise this will be. I would have to put a secret reference on the calendar as to where I "hid" it. Though for years I used the suit cases to stash gifts purchased during the year....So, I would probably put it there.

    Actually, he has about seven quilts by my hand. He probably figures that it is for my sister or someone.

    I love your version! My own is a UFO because I made a bad design decision and used the same fabric for each center square - makes the entire quilt look "flat". Yours has the energy mine doesn't have - time for the seam ripper!
