    thank you all so much for your compliments, you know hind sight is always 20/20 I wish I'd made the petals look windswept from top left to bottom right, maybe on the next one!

    That is very pretty. My sister gave me a wall hanging several years ago along this same line. It said, "He loves me, he loves me not. It matters little, I'm what he's got."

    Kathy...great job! I love the concept of that quilt...its just so much fun! I think you'll do fine with the trapunto..That will really make those petals pop out...fun! I've done the trapunto several times, love doing it...just take care when cutting away the extra batting..thats all....:D:
