    I found the pattern in an old book I inherited after my grandmother died. Irish Chains are pretty common.

    You did an excellent job of making something really special for your son, with imaginative design and good use of the John Deere colors. IMHO, the JD people would get a kick out of seeing the picture.

    Perfect by quilt! I also love the border with its machine working around that field. The ric rac is a perfect finish.
