    You really rose to the challenge and created a very appropriate and original quilt. I love the tire tracks and the rick rack border..................so clever. Bet he loved it.

    He's going to be thrilled... it does look like it was a fun project and you certainly put your loving touch to it. I really like the ric rac trail and your focus fabric is perfect... Great job.

    This is the cutest quilt! Your concept and design is like an answer to prayer! I have been struggling for a long time about making a John Deere twin quilt for my nieces son. She also wants a golf quilt for her dad so that they kind of match. I have collected enough fabric for each that I'm sure I could do this! I think even your ric rack border would work on both! Thank you so much for sharing!

    LOVE everything about the quilt, you have a very creative talent. Having JD tractor/combine fabric is the clincher, my spouse and only son, had 'green' tractors. Both deceased but I now have a sub-compact JD for me to use around the family farm.
