Default Heart String's COMPLETE! and gifted!

I finally finished Heart String's. I posted pics of it through out the process and even posted a tute on how I made the blocks.

I used Pittsburgh Pam's method of mitering the borders, FIRST TIME! I think they turned out okay.

The top is machine pieced. Back is pieced all the same fabric.

Quilt is hand quilted. Approx 106 HOURS invested in quilting it!

Ran out of the binding fabric which is also the backing fabric. So used about 20" of left over binding from my youngest nephews quilt.

The quilt was gifted this past weekend to my eldest nephew for his graduation.

Let me know what you think!

Love it! I"m almost finished mine, and I love the way you put yours together- the border and sashing just add more interest to it. Well done.
