It's been such a pleasure receiving some of the best pattern instructions I've ever seen before, giving me the confidence to construct each block without worry and feeling certain of a positive outcome each time. :D

With the 12th block kit came the picture of the final product and is it ever a beaut!! I can't wait to attach the sashings, cornerstones and borders, etc. to bring this awesome quilt to completion. However, since I do have a deadline to make a wedding quilt for my son and fiance` by the end of May, you won't see a finished picture of my Heartland Heritage until I'm done with the wedding quilt.

In the meantime, here is a pic of all twelve blocks together. Thanks so much for all of your interest, encouragement and kind words as I stitched these up over the last year.

    Happy Stitchin'.
Beautiful Quilt. My chapter is planning to do the Quilt in a Day Underground Railroad as a block a month next year. Just bought the book and looked through and the style is so different from anything I've ever done. This will be interesting but one thing about it, I should be an up to date quilter if I survive it. Right now I swear I'm back in the dark ages as I prefer to use templates and scissors to cut but this one will be rotary cut and short cut methods. Hope mine comes out as beautiful as your blocks have.

Your quilt is so stunning & I know it was lots of fun to get those packages each month with new fabrics & pattern.

"Thank you. This pattern, Heartland Heritage, designed by Pam Buda of heartspunquilts.com was offered exclusively through the Fat Quarter Shop as a mystery block of the month that just ended this month. "

How well did you like the material quality from the Fat Quarter Shop? I was thinking about joining a "block of the month" club but each month it would cost $20 plus shipping. I would hate to get into something like that and find that i didn't like the quality of the material.

I enjoyed looking at your quilt blocks. They are wonderful.
