By the way, is that a purple lamp? Any info on that?
    Thanks!
Thanks. Yep, it is purple, and translucent so that you can see the inner workings. My favorite color, too. I bought it for a $2 at our local Goodwill. Sorry I don't know where it came from originally. It doesn't have any identifying info on it, either. Strange. I am doing a search on it to see if I can find anything for you. It does work much like at Ott light, in that it unfolds to open and has a similar type bulb in it. I have it on hand when I have two machines going or my friend is over.

Thanks. I just love the way all the fabrics and colors work so well together. They're comfy and timeless, too.

Thank you. I would classify this as a pattern for confident beginners. If a person can sew an accurate 1/4" seam, and takes care to press their seams and 'square up' along the way and has basic sewing and beginner quilting skills, then yes, I think it is do-able.

Most of the units are squares, Four Patch, HST (half square triangles), Quarter Square Triangles, Flying Geese, and units using connector squares (as in the Bow Tie).
