    Default Hearts and Pinwheels

This quilt is a request by my friends for one of their daughters as a Christmas gift. The pattern is Jordan Fabrics’ Hearts and Pinwheels, slightly modified. We decided we liked a pinwheel that was the same size as the rest of the blocks instead of the smaller one with strips added for size. The fabrics are a random assortment of FQs and yardage. I have posted progress in this month’s VQW thread. I started the piecing in early October and just stitched the binding on this evening. Thanks for looking!

Great job...I like the jewel tone colors against the black. Don’t you just love Jordan Fabric’s videos?

A great job. I also like Jordan videos. Love the jewel tones on black. My old eyes have trouble sewing with black.

Very pretty, MichelleC. I love the way the black background makes the jewel toned hearts and pinwheels glow.

Great Job! This will be a great Christmas gift with out a doubt!. I did a wall hanging for the VQW this month. I didn't finish the top until yesterday and have not posted a pic yet of the top. I will post it there shortly. I just love your quilt.
