    Great comments everyone! Now for all of you whose Granddaughters etc. would 'love' it..there is no copyright issues...so feel free to make one similar for all your little girls out there :thumbup: :roll: :lol:

    What a cutie, thanks for sharing that. I know what you mean about the free motion quilting off the machine, but heck, you never know until you try. You did a great job.

    Do you know...the biggest tip I discovered is NOT going fast..when I fist started practising free motion, everything and everybody told me to 'put the pedal to the metal'...this makes it so difficult to plan where to go, I was in a panic most of the time...NOW I run my machine on half speed and have learned to move my quilt in time with the machine so can slow right down and speed up as necessary to make my stitches and direction more precise, I still need LOTS of practice yet, particularly doing straight lines in all directions but I feel comfortably in control so NOW enjoy the process so much more!
