A friend of mine has been wanting me to make a throw quilt for when her infant grandchildren came over. I went into mystash of leftover fabrics and this is what I came up with. However since this was left overs I don't have anything for the borders. Would like some suggestions. It messures 25x36 right now. The white lines on it are from the light shining throug the blinds I had it hanging on . Thanks for your help

the darker fabric is a dark tan with white dots

the one next to the dark green is a light green with cream back ground the colors aren't showing up very true on here

It's really cute. I would think the brown color would frame it nicely. Maybe a small borger of green and then the tan?

    Very cute quilt top :D:D:D
You could pull out another pastel for the border and maybe a little darker one for the binding :D

I was thinking the same thing. If it matters, using those colors keep it a bit more gender neutral so as the kids grow it won't seem like it's a quilt more for a girl. Overall I think it's just beautiful and I love your colors!

You can match the colors for the strips or border it with something totally different in color. That's the beauty of designing your own quilts

I love the idea of a brown border. Not gender specific so the boys and girls could all use it.

Do you have anything darker that matches one of the colors in the quilt? Use that.
