It this were my quilt, I would change the light rectangles to red. Probably lots of different red prints with a variety of scale to the prints. You have mostly med/med dks as the greatest % of the quilt.

That sure is pretty fabric. I like the first one best.

What she said. Plus, I like the black print next to the black solid better than the gray.
I like option 1 for all the reasons above
I was going to say I fully agree to the above. But after having seen the enlarged design, I'm not so sure anymore. Actually, I'm no longer that sure if the beautiful light grey with the vines fits in at all. Sorry for adding to the questions instead of solving them.

Looking at it again, I'd say either the light grey or the busy black-white needs to go. The two of them don't work well together. But that's just my unqualified opinion.

I agree on #2. The gray tends to kind of break up the solid black and the black and white. I like that it does that. I have that gray to use as a lining in a bow tuck bag. It is a beautiful fabric and will look very nice along with your other fabrics in the quilt.

ok so after reading all the posts, and trying to figure out which one i liked best i just couldnt pick.
When i got out of my stubborn as a mule thinking i should ONLY look at those two options i had an epiphany as per usual right as im falling asleep thinking of the responses to my post. I think this is the best solution and i hope you all are in agreeance with me. either im tired or i dunno but i think this may give the right balance, chic, pop, and elegance i was looking for when i chose my material.

Without further adu.... option numero 3!
i took the busier fabrics and put them as the "borders" if you will and made the black and white square the focus.
let me know what yall think!
