Agree with Charisma - utilize the center circle. Perhaps a feathered wreath in the circle. Feathers in the corner "arms" that reach out from the circle. the center of the circle ... maybe a small center medallion with some ruler work connecting it to the feathered wreath. Match ruler work on the outside "arms".

Beautiful quilts BTW. I especially like the way the secondary pattern pops in the first one.

Do post pic's when your done quilting!!

I'm going to stare at the blue/green one for awhile. Charisma's got me thinking. I will check back later. I'm thinking I like the loose feather around circle, but not the other feather thought .....

I made a storm at sea a few years ago and just quilted it by sewing about a 1/4 inch inside the seams following the circle pattern. I like the way it came out and it makes the pattern show up.

Wow, I love the first one. Great colour choice.

They are both beautiful. Sorry I am terrible at figuring out how to quilt!

Well I didn't get them done this weekend. Decided to clean my DD's bedroom. She moved out 3 weeks ago and I am in the process of moving my LA into her room. So excited! :)
