    Have you tried playing around with the blocks and maybe creating a new pattern...maybe you will get a new desing with the black liitle squares???
    But i agree with everyone,,,it looks great as is

    Just finish it. The lighthouses is right for the one laying in the bed as well as the one standing at the foot end of the bed, so everyone is happy!! :-)

    Looks good to me! If anyone ask, just tell them you had to work extra hard to make sure it came out like that! Belive me, no one will ever notice.

    I actually prefer to have my quilts that aren't specific in one direction. If they can be turned in any direction they don't wear in the same spot as quickly. If this is a quilt to be used, the part by the face and hands will wear quicker than the rest. If it can be turned in different directions it will wear more uniformly.
