    I too could tell it was hand quilted with my glasses on. Beautiful stitches for sure. Beautiful quilt. A great find.

    I had a feeling it was hand stitched..it was in a big muslin bag someone had made. A shame they didn't want to keep it in the family. But then only 1 of my girls (women now) value the "old stuff". Sad..

    Yes, it was hand quilted by a very skilled quilter. Oh, if we could be such gifted and practiced quilters. I am envious and so happy that you have rescued this beauty. Knowing that it will be honored and cared for makes this quilter's heart full.

    I think your kitty may be a twin to my newly adopted pus. I know, such common coloring but each is unique in its own special way.
