the post about using shoe cubes for storing fabric. I've been through at least 50 pages and can't find it. I wish I'd learn to save things I'm interested in!!
Here is the only picture I saved from the post:

If it was alaskasunshine, she has a tutorial on that thread showing and/or telling how she folded the fabrics. Go through the tutorial section. I hope this helps.

Not me, but I have 3 of these. 1 is in a closet with shoes in it, other 2 are in sewing area. I put 4 rolling wheels on each one, they can turn on a dime and give 9 cents change!! Since they are spreading out lengthwise, I think I may get another 1 or 2 and put 1 on top of each one, standing upright on top. It'll be easy enough to drill a hole in each bottom side and in the middle to screw them to the bottom shelves. And they will still move around to suit me. I plan to shortly make some small drawers to slide in them. I make cardboard ones to see if they would work well and I liked them enough to make them of wood.

I don't keep fabric in them, just sewing aids. Well, maybe just a little bit of what I'm working with at the moment, since I tend to lose what I'll need for whatever project I'm working on after a couple of days.

These are shoe cubes she bought at Lowe's.
