The colors pop. With the extra window the colors don't pop as much. My vote is without the extra.

I like the extra window and wouldn't it be cool to have those with pics of the grad in black and white at various ages of her life. Just a thought.

I love the colors. I tend not to like traditional block colors. These are nice to look at.

I think I also like it without the extra window. It is going to be a lovely quilt. May I ask what size squares you started with? I like how you inserted the colors using the white border. Good thinking on your part!!!
