Reminds me of the last thing you would see at night after the TV shows were over - the pattern on the old black and white TVs - weird ziggy lines that would roll and lots of noisy static. If I am remembering correctly the National Anthem would be played. The only names I can think of all revolve around that darn "off-the-air" pattern. If I had done this quilt I would call it "Off the Air"

Or Test Pattern. Yup I remember too. Leslie, now you just need to make more little ones--you have names for them!

I do have two more black and whites already done, Gladie! I was thinking the same thing. One of them does have the London Steps pattern in the middle.

Are they going to AAQI, too? Please share!I find these little ones to be so fulfilling :-). I'm thinking of joining the $1000 pledge for AAQI. I just pieced a top using some leftover HST measuring 1/2" finished. I have several planned out in EQ as well.

No, they're too big for AAQI. I have to really plan for one to end up only 9 by 12. If I do it my usual way, by gosh and by golly, they always end up larger.

I'll post the extras after I decide which to send to my Sept. partner. Saw a new idea on QB this a.m. that I might try.
