Please help me with this quilt. This I did for the Hoffman challenge. It was a challenge without the challenge,LOL!
I don't know if I want to send it off to Hoffman.
I am an artist but let me tell you a sketch doesn't always tranfer well to fabric. This is my beloved cat who died. A tribute to the The Gray Ghost. He was a sweet cat but my quilt shows him glaring. I workrd on lots of new skills so what should I do?

What if you change the direction he is looking? Like to the side ?

I think it is his eyebrows- I don't know if you want to, but maybe take a picture and play around with drawing his brows just a little higher... I had a Siamese cat like that- but she was kind of mean...

I agree, it's the eyebrows. But can you change it? Looks like it's already quilted. Send it, it's a great quilt.

Could you enlarge the eyes on the top? I don't know if this is painted on or thread painting, but I'm sure you can come up with some small thing that will slightly change his expression.

Looks like my Koko when he is closely examining something he thinks might try to get away from him, like one of his toy mice.
I think it looks natural, most cats can look like this at times. And it is a good tribute to the Gray Ghost.

Yes, the eyelids are down too far. Also, if you could bring his lips up a little on the ends in a mild smile. But it does look like it's already quilted. You don't want to mess it up by undoing it.
