    I like the top left as a first chioce and

    top right as a close second

    sorry for d-post and I would stay with the grey/black for sashing. It acts as a neutral and doesn't distract from the blocks!

    The checks overpower the cats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Love the cats -especially the eyes on the red one. I don't care for the checked one- it's too busy and detracts from the cats. I like one of the left more muted ones.
