    I think folks are galloping by to fast,lol. I still am at a loss as how to finish it. Flannel back or fleece(minky) fold over for binding or cotton & bind in black.Any more ideas? :-D

    I think it looks beautiful just the way it is. I love your cat too. Mine take over all my quilts.

    What is the purpose of the quilt? If it's a wall hanging, I wouldn't spend the money for minky on it, just flannel. If it's a baby quilt, then try the minky. It's much softer than flannel. I've never quilted with it, but I've seen some that were done with minky & they were really cool.

    I would use the same dark blue in the quilt for the binding, it would bring the quilt into focus. It is very nice but the eye does not know where to land. however, the kitten does help! lol Depending upon the type of batting you will be using will determine you back material choice. Heavy batting, light weight back, or vise versa. If no batting then go heavier weight backing. Just an opinion!
