I need help in deciding on borders for my nephews quilt. I'm afraid I have given myself too many choices and am not totally confused. Plus, my husband doesn't like my choice. Suggestions please?

For what it's worth, I like the second picture the best. The colors and the cars just seem to go the best with the quilt.

The borders you have chosen are all to busy. You need a border that does not have such a big design. A blue, black, gray would be better choices. The car blocks you made are being hidden by your border choices. the car blocks are very busy and you need a more calming border. Do not use a solid but something that is marbelized, mottled are reads solid.

Love the quilt! Love the theme

IMHO I think you need the boarder to be quiet. Something like a black, it would give your eyes somewhere to rest.

I did a 'bright' busy quilt that I almost put on a busy border. After I did what was suggested to me, I liked the quilt more.

I like the solid black and then the cars. Gives my eye a break and makes the blocks stand out.
