when we don't have a cone holder handy i drop my cone into a tall, small box (a travel cup box) and set it beside the machine to hold the cone while i sew. the cone holders are neat...but a little on the spendy side. you can check them out by visiting Clotildes catalog or Nancy's notions.

I knew I'd get all the info I needed from here !!!
Oh and soooooo sorry I called it a SPOOL instead of a CONE geez,,,, because I do know its official name is a cone ! I call it all a spool of thread no matter what it is .
I just wanted to make sure if what I used didnt affect the tension but I see we can be creative lol
