You know, the first thing I thought of when I saw the quilt was that the stars were reaching out for each other. I REALLY like the quilt the way it is now, and if I ever make another log cabin I might do exactly this, on purpose.

    LOVE IT.

It will look better when it is completed. For some reason, it always does. Keep going!

OK MYTHREESUNS - you've had a while to think about it, put it on point, rearrange it, add other fabric, etc.

    WHAT DID YOU DECIDE? :)

Add one more solid color border to each block and 'float' the stars.

I pulled up a few links with layout ideas. It's fun to move things and see all the options. I don't know if you want to add more or subtract any blocks or have the fabric to be that flexible.

Call it your wonky log cabin. Everyone who doesn't quilt will think it is beautiful and that's the name of the pattern.
