    Thank you for the compliment. Yes, the green reads so dark here. I had these laid out next to a sunlit window and even used the flash. I seem to have so much trouble getting good color in my pictures. Guess that's one reason I'm a quilter and not a photographer! LOL.

    Hmmm . . . hadn't considered a brown. That could be interesting. The poinsettia prints have a light beige in the center of the flowers. I'll explore browns and beiges and see what that does. Thanks. :0)

    I love the dark green (my favorite color) as it looks Christmasy, but maybe a lighter shade of green to match the leaves would make it more airy.

    I thought it was black and loved it. Very striking, makes the blocks stand out. Agree with deciding for a soft look or bold. I personnaly like the bold. :)

    Wow! I love the Moda fabric you chose. I like the darker color, the blue seems to take away from the blocks. The green makes them stand out more.

    I prefer the dark background as it brings out the best in your blocks!! Very pretty!! :D :D ;)
