That will be a wonderful treasure for her. What a remarkable friend you are to walk with her through her healing time and through making this quilt. You'll both have treasured memories of this!

Pleeeease post the name of the pattern. I am making a pattern called Little Dresses. That quilt would be the perfect companion for it.

That is adorable! I've seen it done in bow tie, but I love this. Great pattern.

Love the shirts. I will be making 2 memory quilts from my DMIL's shirts - one for my husband and one for my BIL. Had never thought of doing them like you are with the shirts. That is really neat and will be very special for your friend.

My friend turned to me knowing that I had been quilting for around 8 years. And heres what we have accomplished. She bought this pattern at a LQS, something I'd never seen until she showed it to me. And I'll be darned if I'm gonna let somebody say theres no way! So heres our progress. We get together about once a week. This is her first and probably her last quilt, so she says. But we have such a good time when we're together, I hope she catches the bug!
I have been looking for a pattern just like that! Do you have the name of the designer?
