Well, I told everyone about a year ago that my time was about to be diverted from quilts. I have a couple of pics that will give you a little idea of my most recent project. My daughter designed this dress, and the lace, which was embroidered by a local embroidery shop for us. I sewed it, and she and I applied the lace and beadwork.
shows the lace around the train, and up the center back

Her split sleeves and bodice were bordered in a miniature version of the lace on the skirt.

I have to put in my thanks to all here who encouraged me in this effort. It was a daunting task, but finally came together. And she was happy with the result. THAT counts for a great deal.
