Thanks Patti. I am not particularly attracted to that fabric, but when I saw it I just knew it would make a great OBW. That's the reason I bought it. Unfortunately it was before I became aware to cound the repeats instead of yardage. I only had 11 repeats. :hunf: :hunf:

I made it for my nephew, but I showed it to him and he didn't make any approving noises or indicate he wanted it (on the contrary), so it will sit in a bin somewhere with the other finished tops. No one in my family wants any quilts, but I keep making them anyhow. From now on I'm only going to make ones I want to keep!

Gai I love that! It turned out great, really striking with the two predominant colours and the way you did the border is really cool, as they say, 'necessity is the mother of invention'! The whole hexs of dragons was inspired! :-D I will be copying this idea at some stage, try and stop me!

I love this. Great job! I wish that you had posted it earlier. My Walmart had tons of this fabric and now they don't sell fabric anymore.

I have this same fabric cut out. Mine is golden dragnons with the red flames. I just have not had the time to finish sewing yet. I am still jazzed about it. You did a great job and have reinspired me. Thanks

I have the same material with red flames and gold dragons. Bought this 6 months ago in Illinois but only 1 yard because I didn't know how I could use it. After seeing a tute here, I wanted to do a stack N wack. So sorry now I didn't purchase more fabric! :|
