just bought some sequin pins about a month ago to make some for Christmas gifts. I bought the styrofoam balls at a yard sale- 6 for $.50.

    Now for the time...

I picked one up at a sale my Mom and I went to many years ago and dissected it. I use 3/4 inch sequin pins and mostly Florists ribbon because if the ribbon gets wet it won't stay wet or mold. The nice thing about these is that if Kitty knocks them off the tree they won't break!
I have a tote full of fabric and ribbon stored in a storage unit 150 miles away with the pins and all ready to go LOL!!
Oh and it helps if you use some type of thimble because your pin pushing finger will hurt like the dickens after about 10 or 20 pins.
    Have fun.
    :XD:

Know what you mean about the thimble. I started using mine as well.

I've tried them, too, with no luck. Do you sell them? I would love to have 12 of them. If you would, please pm me.

I've been making these on and off for years and years. I think they are easy to make and are always a hit. Last year I made them for my employees, about 20 of them. I made Pittsburgh Steelers ornaments for the guys and pretty holiday ones for the ladies. I've also made them during other times of the year, for Valentines,
    Thanksgiving, etc. Love these ornaments!!
