    I am going to have someone help me with instructions on these. Do you have to put the lace around the middleI like them with out it ?

    Thanks for the inspiration. I am always looking for something crafty for Christmas. Last year my daughter(not a crafter) decided we would each make something for Christmas. When it got time for her to do mine( she had just learned to knit) she was going to do a scarf. Long story short I got a bought angel with the hanger knited ! She said somebody should kick her if she suggested it again.

    WOW - the time it takes to make these make me feel
    soooo lucky. I bought about 3 dozen at a yard
    sale for 25 cents each.

    No you do not. but you will need to put something around the middle to hide that last row of pins.

    Lucky in deed. It takes about 750 pins for just three to four balls. The pins cost 4.99 for 750 pins. The balls cost 4.99 for six. So you indeed got a bargin.
