...that I plan to give my kids for Easter. tlrnhi started this stuff! LOL! The pattern is from JoAnn's website. It is the faberge bunny. Terri sent me the patterns enlarged so they'd be easier to work with. Good thing! I need easy! I had trouble with the back of the 1st one's head...and a little less trouble with the 2nd's head...but still some. I could make bonnets, but I have so much more stuff to do! Here they are. They are naked, btw. I would like to dress them. Dresses would be easy, but one is for a boy....they may end up with ribbons around their necks. :D
Oh, and the fabric is some I hand-dyed a long time ago. I thought it would be fun to use for these bunnies.

I don't know how long it took me to make the blue one bc I just had a minute or two here and there, but it took 4 hours for the pink one. I used the same pattern, but they turned out different sizes/shapes a little. The only thing I did differently was I lengthened the gusset on the pink one. THat is the thing in the head. See the back of the heads? The blue one was way too short. I almost had it long enough for the pink one, but not quite. Oh, well. The kids have been loving the blue one anyway!

Very cuddly! The interesting phenomenon while producing more than one of anything at a time is: the brain starts compensating and changing things to make the work more efficient, even if we don't realize we are learning. It is always fun to make more than one of the same thing because each one is a bit different than the one before. There is a way to curb it, sort of - - make a dozen at a time...each step ....twelve times.

I know! Only an obsessive person would think of something like that. I only mention twelve because if left to my own devices .... I would make more. I have to limit myself in some manner.

Well, it doesn't really matter that they turned out different. It's just odd. They're going to kids that are individuals...different like night and day...and no two people are alike, so no two bunnies will be, either. It doesn't bother me. Could be the different types of stuffing I used, though. Some of it was more stiff and cottony, and some was more soft and fluffy. I ran out of what I was using...oh, well.

Cute bunnies. I can remember making all kinds of "homemade" stuff for my kids when they were young. I suppose I will do it again when I finally have grands! Your kids sure are blessed to have a mom who makes things for them!!

Well... see! There you go! Everything should be different so we can tell them apart. I always worry about that when I make more than one of a project ... how will they be able to tell them apart? Serious! It is my salute to individuality!
