I wish my husband would cut my blocks for me and make beautiful quilts like that. I would gladly share and then go shopping for more fabric.

I think you will have to forgive him, he does a great job piecing quilts and looks like he gets them finished, no ufo's.

He did a great job with those white blocks. Now he has to trade back to you some blocks YOU want.

I really don't think that he knew they were the ones that I was using. I didn't take all of them out of the container they were in. I just grabbed some. It was my fault really. Since he does all of the marking and cutting for me, I guess I'd probably be better off keeping my mouth shut about the little incident. I wouldn't want him to quit on me. I'll just make do and make the sacrifice. Of course a trip to the LQS will smooth my ruffled feathers.

He sounds like a good husband and he is certainly a good quilter.
I'd just explain the problem you're having and ask him to drive with
you to the local quilt store to help you try to find a matching white.
He probably thought he was being helpful in using up scrap squares that
you didn't want and had left unlabeled.
My daughter loves sushi and I use her take-out trays with covers to
    corral my squares.
