Thanks for the encouragement. I loved the pink too. The babylock and Brother both use .pes embroidery files so that helps. What I like also is the user manuals will print out from the websites and I have them in plastics in a binder for each machine, in order to save my original ones. The machines are user friendly toward each other, since they are both made by Brother. It's gong to be fun. The top design is a skull and lightening I'm ding for my son.

I also have this machine and I love it. It's pretty easy to use and care for but if you have questions let me know and we can compare notes. I may not know the answer but my dealer is wealth of information and great to work with. Also, you can buy a 6 x 6 hoop and use it by using a free update from brother. ( it's a Quattro hoop but look at the back of the box - I find it really saves on stabilizer.). Be sure to register with brother for your warranty and updates, and ibroidery.com to purchase their designs.
