    I love your basket weave quilt and I really like your quilting idea for this. Doing an echo stitch inside the square is really cool. Like it. Is this a free pattern somewhere on the Internet? I've looked at yours pretty intently and think I can almost do it but I'd be cutting each square rather than speed stripping. How did you do it?

    Feathers - it is a free pattern and I believe it is called Woven Ribbons by Barbara Campbell from Windham Fabrics. You actually do cut each square. It is so easy to do. I just added the ends on the quilt to make it longer.
