    Both are beautiful machines!! I'd find some place to put them, Maybe move DH out, just kidding!!

    i just got a small two room apartment i live by myself so that don't work lol i live in apartment that was a house i live in the one that was a garage and a breeze way didn't realize how small and narrow it was until you put thing in

    Elsie, if you're needing a place to store that Singer, you can store it at my house!! That's downright pretty! :)

    The Mercury is a badge name for a Goodrich sewing machine. (Badged = Goodrich made the machine just like they did the machines sold as "Goodrich", but put the Mercury name on them instead) I would think you could find plates for it, most likely off of an old Singer! ;) One of the guys on Needlebar had a trophy type belt buckle drilled to use as a plate on one of his machines...looks pretty!

    Nice machines- thought the Mercury was an old car, duh, need to get my mind on where I'm at....quilting.

    i look on the inter net didn't see any plate for it if anyone see one and reasonabe price let me know

    i look up the number on mine treadler in singer list mine is a 1923 machine it nice to look up what years thing go yet have no more on the mercury
