    I agree w/Huggy face AND Ms Speedy! If you use a very simple chain in the white outside border it would add some contrast and still show off your great color choices. :thumbup:

    Providing the name of the book or magazine, where a pattern came from or providing the name of the pattern would not be copyright infringement. Providing copies of book or magazine pages containing the pattern or it's instructions would be.

    It's from Marsha McCloskey's Quick Classic Quilts Four-Patches to Feathered Stars (happens to be quilt on the cover), published by Leisure Arts and Oxmoor House. It says in the inside cover, from the For the Love of Quilting series 1996.
    Mine is identical in form to the books, of course my fabric choices are different.
    The pattern is the LeMoyne Star directions start on page 126.
