Default Heros Comfort Quilt flimsy finished

With many thanks to a board member who shared her Oakland teams fabric with me, I have been able to finish the Hero's comfort quilt for my nephew in California who has lymphoma. He has been accepted by Stanford U. into their bone marrow transplant program and we are very thankful and hopeful for this.

Here is a photo of the flimsy, now I have one comfort quilt layered and ready to quilt, and this one ready to be layered. Here's hoping my fibro behaves so I can get these done in a timely manner!!!
I so appreciate all the love and support I get from the members of this board. It really keeps me going.

PS: I am also adding a photo of one block I'm proud of because I don't do a lot of applique, so the silhouettes and this 6.5" Athletic's banner please me a lot in how well they came out.

Great job! I don't do applique very often either, but you did just fine.

Your nephew will love it; may he keep it near him during treatments both for warmth and the love it expresses so well. Joyce in DE
