    That size would be a good place to dabble by fingers in hexies. Nice dolly quilt.

    The hexies are one inch. Hand stitched. I sewed them into strips of 6. Then hand stitched each strip to the next. I pinned one to the other with the papers still in.Then took out the papers after I got several together.Worked better to leave about 3 rows of papers in place. The quilt is 13 in. x 20 in. The batting is a piece of flannel and the back fabric is just a piece I had. Stitching the hexies in the evening is relaxing for me.
    Thanks for all the nice comments. There was no plan for this little quilt. I used the fabric I had on hand. I like little quilting. This is a wavy (not sure if it has a name) using multi colored thread.judy j
