Default A Hexie Wreath made by granddaughter

Hello All! I am so proud of my 11 year old granddaughter. I am visiting her in Erie, PA and brought my hexies to work on. She wanted to learn how to sew so I taught her how to sew a wreath. I had her use red thread so she could see what she was doing. She was so proud when she got it done.

I wonder why it posted sideways...oh well just bend your head a bit. LOL

What a great job! I wish I had someone to teach to sew.

That is so special. This is something she can keep for a long time and remember the time the two of you spent together. Please tell her for me that I think she did an awesome job on the wreath. BrendaK

Be sure she signs and dates her work so in years to come she will know when this was done. All great artists sign then work.

Wonderful! Give that DGD a big hug for me. You did great. Just a little encouragement can give a life time of pleasure. What a gift that is.

Lovely! Great job. I have seven granddaughters and one grandson. Only the grandson and his sister have any interest in sewing. I think he just likes to run the machine! But we do have fun.
