:-D :-D :-D :-D I finally got it to lie flat like it was supposed to do. I made a window following the instruction in a booklet called Quilting With Folded Stars. So I made it go the way I wanted it to go. Now for opinions,,,, I made 4 mini spirals and I was wondering if it would look good with vines and a few leaves to make them look like flowers????? Here, have a look and see what I mean. This is not pressed yet and the mini spirals are not applique'd yet. Huggies, Fay

Used a flash, but picture is still dark

I like the little spirals and your idea about joining them to the center one. They remind me of a child's windmill that you blow on to make it spin.

I love it. It will be perfect any way you do it.

Whichever will be great, but they give it so much motion like they are. Will anchoring them with stems detatch that motion? Just a thought.

Do you see "flowers" when you look at this quilt? I don't see "flowers", I see some kind of spinning something particularly because it's in blacks and white. Vine and leaves don't work for me. I love the spinning! But that's just me.

I agree about not using them as flowers, keeps the 'spinning' theme going.

I love it just the way it is. I believe if you add anything else it will take away from the abstract nature of it. I think you are done!
