    A dozen times WOW!!! You so such beautiful FMQ. I just can't believe that it just a practice piece. I really like the asymmetrical look.

    No pattern. I just sat down at my machine and went for it. Anyone who does FMQ for a while can see the basic techniques I used (flames,tear drops,pebbles, and swirls). It's not as intricate as it might seem and you don't need to be an artist to pull it off. That's for sure. Just need practice.

    Whoever asked what kind of thread I used? Who knows. I get most of my thread from my MIL's cast offs and she takes the little paper tops off(mostly C&C). I just use what I've got and if it doesn't work, I use something else.


    Thanks again for all of the nice comments. I'm going to stop practicing I guess and try to plan something.
