    Wow, like finding hidden treasure! Oh yeah, you titled your thread that.

    That is just so cool! And the orange fabric isn't horrible. If it's cotton, you could cut it up and use it - in smaller quantities - in other quilts. You did say you wanted some fabric!

    Great find! Hubby was smart to investigate the tear in the orange fabric! My DH went to an auction last week and there was a quilt for auction, but he said it was UGLY (what does he know)- he did bid on it, but then he said it went too high. I had seen it on the listing on the computer and it did not look that great, so I was not too disappointed.

    I have seen teddy bears made from old quilts....that would be one way to use it...I like the blocks
