I love your quilt! You did a fantastic job.

I have cataracts and, when working with dark fabrics, I'v found it extremely useful to have a headlamp you can wear on your head. This is the one I got and it's so helpful:

Mcadwell, thanks for the great idea. I have a headlamp, but never thought to use it.

Solid black is a favorite of mine, and yes it is hard on the eyes. What you have created here is so amazing. You nailed it all the way around.

Lovely quilt! I think black backgrounds are so dramatic, I make lots of them.

This is very interesting to look at - reminds me of "Star Fleet" or something. Love your colors.

You did a great job with this combination, even though it probably drove you crazy trying to piece it.

How are you going to quilt it? I'm looking forward to seeing it finished.
