Default High Score top is finished

This is High Score by Christina Cameli. Someone remind me to never work with solid black again! So hard on the eyes.

    Amazing scrappy!!
Agree black can be such a challenge to work with, but your results prove it was all totally worthwhile!

For a totally different look, I can picture this one with a white (or light background) and a scrappy mix of lighter fabrics, perhaps 30s fabrics? I think it could work with a a nice delicate, gentle sense to it.

You had me curious and I went looking for the pattern to discover it is mostly HSTs.
Wonder? how would it look totally as scrappy mix, rather than the groupings of the same fabric?

For those interested, here's the pattern that I found .....

Beautiful, I sew on black most times when sun is shining under 5 LED light bulbs.

Really nice top. I also am having a bit of trouble with the apron I am working on that is black with green shamrocks on it. I think some forty years ago I made a tailored pair of slacks in black. I swore then, never again. It is very challenging.

I just love this quilt. Your colors are so vibrant with the black background. Sorry to hear it was hard on your eyes while working on it.
