My son won't either. As a matter of fact he wants to keep all the ones I make too which is funny because they are wall hangings and he is soon to not have a wall. LOL He is off to college in the fall and will be staying in the dorms. I am not sure the other college kids would like their walls covered in my wall hangings. :D

Thank you , I will let him know how all of you feel. And as for the one going off to college....you may find yourself permanently employed in making more for the rest of the ones in the dorm. Make sure you leave room for the orders.LOL

How wonderful! Will he take orders? that is absolutely what I can't wait to teach my youngest grand, when she gets back from Alaska in about 3 years. My grandson will not even try cause it's not macho man stuff! His dad and papa have really done him no favors.

and I thought that went out when Rosie Grier took up needlepoint! What about Ricky Tims and Joe Cunningham? not to mention several others as yet unheralded....why even our own Tim! I know there are still those who prefer the more "hard" craftworks of steel and metal and such.....that's ok too. But what a deal to cuddle up and be worm under your own handiwork.

You give me too much credit, just ask Patrice.

And be aware, the sewing machine isn't my only power tool. I do have a full blown wood shop, have been known to wrench on cars and vans, have a complete darkroom set up for multiple format film developing and printing, can make anything I want electronically, given a little time, and do some serious cooking.

Which of these do I prefer? Yes.
