    Lucky you! I think the old quilts are real art work. They used a newspaper pattern and scissors to cut them out. Most are hand stitched and hand quilted. They are a treasure.

    Thank you! I will admit I was surprised when she gave it to me (I figured board members giving employees something might be considered a no-no) but I am just so thrilled.
    I have no idea what the block pattern is and would love if someone did. Perhaps if I find an appraiser they may know?
